McDonald's fans, we have some good news
The fast-food restaurant has released an update to its menu, which will hit stores next week, and it includes one special item that fans will be delighted to see return.
The much-loved halloumi chips are making a comeback next week. Of course, these are served, as always, with a generous helping of tomato sauce for good dipping.
Also returning to the list are McCrispy Deluxe and Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry.
But it's not just the return of old favorites, Maccies has also launched some new products for the Easter season.
Not only are they introducing hot cross bun pie, but they’re also going hot cross bun crazy with the hot cross bun latte.
Easter lovers will also be delighted to see the launch of the delicious-sounding Galaxy Truffle Bunny McFlurry.
However, it's clear that the biggest event of these launches will be the return of halloumi chips, as people on social media have been waiting for their return for a long time.
“2.16am and I'm thinking about McDonald's halloumi fries in the UK…gosh I need them,” one user wrote of the food.
“McDonald's halloumi fries kind of look like me,” wrote a second.
A third wrote: “Whoever invented McDonald's halloumi fries… you deserve the world.”
For those who can't wait to get their hands on the new merchandise, there's only a short wait.
The new menu will be launched next Wednesday, March 13th.
