He was at the heart of Bayern Munich's controversial goal
Referee Szymon Marciniak will be relieved of his duties at the opening match of Euro 2024.
Marchiniak was the center forward in Real Madrid's Champions League semi-final victory over Bayern Munich, with Joselu's two late goals ensuring Madrid's progression to the final.
Bayern thought they had taken the game into extra time when Matthijs de Ligt's goal was disallowed after Polish referee Marcinyak had flagged off Nussel Mazraoui's strike Suspected offside whistle.
Since he blew the whistle beforehand, VAR could not intervene.

Thomas Tuchel was furious after the game and despite receiving an apology, insisted it was not enough.
He said: “The linesman said sorry but that didn’t help.
“There were two mistakes. The first big one came from the linesman. He immediately raised the flag; to raise the flag in this situation you have to be very, very sure it was offside.
“Having the guts, having the guts, to raise the flag like this is a huge call, but it was the wrong decision. We had a shot within five seconds (of the flag) and the referee had a chance not to blow the whistle, but he blew it . This violates all the rules.”
A report in Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy said Marciniak was due to take charge of the Euro 2024 opener between Germany and Scotland in Munich on June 14, but UEFA is now reportedly reconsidering decision, and will almost certainly be overturned.
He has officiated the 2022 World Cup final between Argentina and France, as well as multiple games at Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup.
