We've been discussing the possibility for a long time, but, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Christofferson Robb, we can finally confirm that the FTAV Pub Quiz will be making a comeback in New York.

If you are unfamiliar with pub quizzes in Alphaville, please see the following article following the last two quizzes in London.expected foolishly nightmarishly Puzzles about finance, markets, and economics, stunning custom Alphaville prizes, and instant promotions for all members of the winning team.

We also hired Ethan and Rob from Unhedged to help us host the event. There might even be a special cameo*.

when? April 9, 6 to 10 p.m.

Where? Houston Hall, located at 222 West Houston Street. The closest subway station is the Houston Street Station on the 1 Line, but the West 4th Street Station (A, C, E, B, D and F Lines) is just steps away.

How many? $20 per person. Admission includes a (temporarily) open bar.

What? ! This is real. We combine proceeds from Christofferson Robb's kind sponsorship with Alphaville's own swag proceeds to offer free bar tabs to readers who come along. It won't be unlimited, but it will be generous. You can also order food at the venue.

How do I register? ? ? Send an email to alphaville@ft.com with the subject line PQNYC2024 and CC up to 5 potential team members, with a maximum team size of 6 people. Provide the team leader’s mobile phone number and team name. Tickets sell out quickly, so don't wait. Get this team together as soon as possible.

Once your registration is confirmed, a member of Alphaville's global events department will follow up with information regarding payment. Seats are limited and tables will be allocated on a first pay, first served basis.

If you'd love to come but don't have any friends interested in the finance quiz, drop us an email anyway. We will try to seat some stragglers tables if there is space and demand.

If you have any other questions, please leave them in the comment area below.

* If you are a financial figure or a representative of a financial figure and would like to get involved, be sure to contact us – especially if you are able to sign a printout of the Volcker Rule (RIP).
