They also gave an update on the baby's condition.
The family of a woman stabbed in Sydney's Bondi Junction attack yesterday have released a statement paying tribute to the devoted mother and providing an update on her child's condition.
Ashlee Good, 38, died from her injuries in yesterday's horrific attack but it appears her nine-month-old baby may have survived after being stabbed by her attacker.

Witnesses at the scene at Westfield shopping center described how Ms Goode threw the injured baby into the arms of two strangers in a last-ditch attempt to save the child's life.
The two brothers who carried the baby to safety spoke to Australia's Nine News about the traumatic incident.
“The baby was stabbed, and yes, the mother was stabbed,” one of the brothers said. “The mother came over with the baby in her arms and threw it to me.
The man said he used store-bought clothes to try to stop the bleeding.
“I just helped hold the baby … and tried to press on the baby.
“(The situation) is pretty bad… there's a lot of blood on the floor… I hope the kid is okay,” another brother said.
At least five people died after the stabbing. They are Ashlee Good (38), Dawn Singleton (25), Jade Young, Faraz Tahir (30) and 55-year-old Pikria Darchia.
The murderer was shot dead on the spot by the police. His name was also 40-year-old Joel Cauchi.
Ashlee Good's family later released a statement to the public, describing her as a “beautiful mother, daughter, sister, partner, friend, all-around amazing person and so much more.”
They added: “We would like to thank the Australian public for their kind wishes and thoughts for Ashley and our baby girl.”
