“It's a joke”
Erik ten Hag reacted angrily when asked if almost all of his Manchester United players were available for transfer.
Reports earlier this week suggested that almost all first-team players would be considered “up for sale” as Sir Jim Ratcliffe looks to raise funds to reshape the squad.
They added that Alejandro Garnacho, Kobe Minu and Rasmus Hoylund are the only players who won't be sold at any price.
United have spent around £1bn building up their current squad but that has not translated into performance on the pitch as the Red Devils are likely to endure another disappointing season.
With them likely to miss out on the Champions League, the club will have to rely on selling players to raise the funds needed.
Names such as Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford are also said to be available – but these two will only leave after paying a hefty fee.
Ten Witches happy with team
When asked about the possibility of a rebuild, Ten Hag was quick to rant and downplay any reports that he could be facing a completely new team next season.
“It's a joke! There are 200 players interested in Manchester United every summer as long as I've been working here, it's unreal. We did some research,” he exclaimed.
“Every summer we sell every player in the squad. It's untrue. When you see headlines like this, stay calm and take responsibility. It's total c**p.
“I'm entering my fifth window now, two windows were okay, two windows we missed. We have to make new improvements in the summer. The fundamentals of this team are very good. Injuries have been detrimental to us this season It had a big impact.”
United's hopes of finishing in the top four are all but over, but they can still finish the season with some trophies if they beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
