That's right, folks—according to science, it's the scariest movie ever made. Even better, you can stream the show on Netflix.

A scientific study has determined that the 2012 classic horror film Sinister is the creepiest movie ever made.

While horror is a subjective matter for many, a scientific study by Broadband Choice shows that there is no scarier movie than “Sinister.”

Daniel Clifford, founder of the study, said: “As more and more people spend Halloween at home, our horror science study aims to help people find the most scientific horror movies ever made. Saving them time searching.” Thousands of titles on streaming services like Amazon, Netflix and Shudder. “

The study measured the resting heart rates of 50 people of various ages while watching more than 100 hours of horror movies.

After studying the viewing rates of 35 of the scariest movies, “Sinister” came out on top.

The average resting heart rate of these people was 65 beats per minute, but during “Sinister,” that number jumped to 86 beats per minute.

Friends, any good news? The series is now streaming on Netflix.
