A job offer has emerged on a remote island off the coast of Scotland, with a salary of £150,000.

A GP practice serving the Hebridean islands of Uist and Benbecula on Scotland's west coast is looking for new doctors to work and live there and is willing to pay a substantial fee to find the right person.
NHS Western Isles has posted a very poetic and descriptive job description on its vacancies page, which reads: “From the fishing port of Lochmady in the north; from the sparkling Lochboisdale in the south. Beaches to the islands of Uist and Benbecula, a place full of life, activity and culture that welcomes you.
“It is in this unique, safe and idyllic location that at least five GPs have been given a rare and exciting opportunity to form a new team as part of a new 2C practice. We are ready and Excited to welcome GPs to escape the rat race and achieve a healthier work-life balance with NHS Western Isles.
“The posts will be based at Benbecula Medical Clinic, an island dotted with lakes and lochs, sweeping sea and spectacular views of the sea and surroundings. Post holders will be able to avail and Developing their skills and experience further is also part of the role.”
They offer salaries of between £69,993 and £104,469 for 40 hours per week roles, which is around 40% higher than the average salary for GP roles in mainland Scotland.
As if that wasn't enough, they've also promised up to an additional £8,000 towards moving costs, a remote working stipend of around £1,279 per year, and a 'golden greeting' payment of up to £10,000 to movers to the island.

This position also provides up to 41 days of annual leave per year.
NHS Western Isles said the ideal candidate for the role would be “self-reliant and motivated” with an “adventurous spirit and passion for rural medicine”.
Benbecula is small, flat and low-lying, dotted with lakes and connected to neighboring Uistes by causeways.
Balivanich has an airport and the only ATM in Benbecula and South Uist. The island has some cracked beaches, backed sand dunes and the typical Hebridean horse chairs.
