We all know Tobey Maguire is the best Spider-Man. Sure, Tom Holland is great, and so is Andrew Garfield, but neither of them can touch the Fuhrer, Peter Parker.
So, here's the good news for internet fans everywhere, a rather dramatic rumor is making the rounds in Hollywood – Maguire is teaming up with the director of the original trilogy, Sam Raimi, to make a fourth installment. This work was put on the screen.
Asked about the potential for a fourth tranche, Remy said: “If it's going to happen, it will be at the right time.”
He added that another film was possible because the director “had the same desire as us (the fans).”
In fact, the rumors were so strong that Thomas Haden Church (aka Remy's Sandman) spider man 3did hear rumors that the two were working on a possible Spider-Man 4 .
He told Comicbook.com: “There's always been some sort of…I've heard rumors…that Sam Raimi is going to do another (Spider-Man movie) with Tobey. If that happens, I'll probably push for at least a cameo one time.”
Not only that, the director himself previously told MoviePilot that he would be returning amid media coverage of his latest Marvel movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesssaid: “I didn't think it was possible, but after returning to the multiverse, I realize anything is possible now, so I'm totally open to it.”
So it seems that Spider-Man 4 rumors couldn't be further from the truth.
Spider-Man 4 or The Amazing Spider-Man 3?
But it turns out Maguire isn't the only friendly neighborhood Spider-Man who might be returning.
In 2014, Garfield's one-man show as Peter Parker ended with the finale Amazing Spider-Man movies, and he has not ruled out the possibility of returning with an independent film of his own.
