What would you do in this situation?

The parents of a toddler have been mocked online after a video emerged of a toddler disrupting several rows of passengers on a long-haul flight from Germany to the United States.

This short video has been posted to reddit, In the photo, the child is standing on the small table, pulling the chair in front of him, crying loudly.

Other passengers on the flight described how the child went “crazy” throughout the eight-hour journey and that on several occasions when her parents tried to stop her, she yelled in their faces and continued to cause trouble.

In the video, filmed by a passenger sitting in the row opposite the runaway baby, she can be seen jumping up and down on the table on the chair in front of her.

As a result, the man's chair in front of the toddler began to rock, and the table looked as if it might break under her weight.

Although the man tried to ignore her, the child also caused further disruption by placing her hands on his headrest.

The clip ends with the little girl turning to face a woman who appears to be her mother and yelling at her.

The video's release sparked a litany of responses on public forums, with most expressing shock that parents would allow their children to treat other people in this way.

One user simply said: “If my child did this and I directly allowed it, I would feel like a failed parent.”

Another wrote: “I'm not very confrontational but even I stand up and say something.”

One critic said “child-free zones” should be implemented on planes.

Shane Townley said in the interview Mirror Recounting her own experience, another passenger on the ill-fated flight said her child started throwing tantrums when the plane's Wifi didn't work on her parent's iPad.

Apparently, it was the inability to watch Peppa Pig that triggered the prolonged outburst.

Another parent on Reddit wrote about how they control their children in public: “I have two young children. They know how to behave in public. If they don’t know how to act in a situation, They'll find out soon enough.

“My wife and I have always addressed these issues when their public behavior affects other people,” he added. “It may be harder now, but my kids are now 9 and 7 and they act like they should in public. I hate parents who don't provide structure for their kids and their kids end up being someone else's question.”

Another wrote: “I would never allow my child to bother someone in this way. It’s one thing to talk louder. Let your child jump on an airplane seat and grab another person’s (stranger’s) The chair is completely wrong.

“I hope that person can be compensated in some way. The parents probably think there’s nothing wrong with that. Unacceptable!!!”
