The actor revealed that she often gets guest requests from fans attending Harry Potter-themed weddings, which she can't understand.
She said: “I guest-starred and people said 'Oh, I'm going to have a Harry Potter themed wedding' and I thought 'Oh my gosh, what is their first fun night going to be?'” I couldn't even think about it. think. “
Margolyes did say that she thought the Wizarding World stories were “great” and that she was “grateful” for the series, but that it was “over.”
This isn't the first time the 82-year-old has spoken out about her indifference towards Harry Potter. Back in 2020, she told a fan in a cameo: “I'm not[a Harry Potter fan]. I'm not opposed to it, I'm just not interested.
“I've never seen the movie. I've never seen the books, I've never read them. I just pocketed the money when it came, and I'm very grateful for that.”
Last year, she told British Vogue that Harry Potter “doesn't matter”, adding: “I was delighted to get the role and I loved being a part of it and meeting everyone, but it's not Charles Dickens. “
