Mbappe no kebabs
A kebab shop owner is feeling the wrath of Kylian Mbappe and is being sued for using the Paris Saint-Germain forward's name to describe one of his dishes.
The description itself appears to be more of a mockery of Mbappe than a compliment, as ESPN reports that kebab shop owner and social media star Mohamed Henni describes his Klüb kebab shop as a “baker's kebab shop” Round bread, as round as Kylian Mbappe’s skull.”
Mbappe's lawyer, furious at the use of his name (rather than a description), sent a message to Henney demanding that his client's name be removed from the menu.
He has eight days to do so or face court action for using Mbappe's name for commercial purposes without his consent.
Henny shocked by complaints
Henny was understandably shocked to see Mbappe and his team taking one of his light-hearted jokes seriously.
Posting on Instagram, he blasted the Paris Saint-Germain star: “Aren't you ashamed?
“You have nothing else to do? Are you suing me for such a useless thing? Unbelievable. I can't believe it!”
He added: “I don't think a player at this level has time to think about me. He spent time and money attacking me. I'm not hurting anyone, I'm just humorous.”
Mbappe prepares for Champions League draw
Paris Saint-Germain achieved great success in the round of 16, beating Real Sociedad 4-1 over two legs, and they will participate in this Friday's Champions League draw.
This season is almost certainly Mbappe's last chance to win Europe's biggest prize with the French giants after he told the Ligue 1 side he would leave at the end of the season.
Real Madrid are the 25-year-old's expected destination this summer, which would end almost two years of speculation between the two parties.
