Klopp called one of his questions “stupid” before leaving
A Norwegian TV reporter feeling the wrath of a furious Jurgen Klopp has spoken out after a clip of the interview went viral.
Klopp sparked controversy after the game when he angrily walked out of an interview on Norwegian television amid questions about his team's performance.
Overall, Klopp admitted defeat graciously and congratulated United, but lost when asked if his side were finding it difficult to find the same level of intensity we are used to seeing from Liverpool. Calm down.
“If you see us a lot, I have to say, this is a bit of a silly question. If you never see us, then you can ask 'How can they have more resources?'” he responded.
“I don't know how many games we've played recently and I don't know how many games Manchester United have played. That's sport. I'm really disappointed with the issue but you think the opposite so that's good.”
He then interrupted the interviewer, who was trying to continue the conversation, and said, “Oh, don't you think so? Ah, come on, you're obviously not in good shape, I have nothing to say,” and walked away.

Host gives his take on Klopp's fiery interview
His comments sparked widespread debate on social media, with many blaming the Reds boss for his behaviour, but Nils Christian Frederiksen, the man at the center of the incident, believed the German was “out of line”.
“I should be angry because what he said was unpleasant,” he told The Athletic.
“He was completely out of character because the issues were not that controversial.
“At first, it was okay because he said it was a stupid question. I heard the same thing from Guardiola three months ago, but it was in an interesting way. I think Klopp had the same idea, so I chose this.
“But then he started working on it, and the whole atmosphere became good, and the interviews started going to different places.”
Klopp has yet to respond to the comments since they went viral.
