they have issued a statement
Comedians Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont have announced they are divorcing after nine years of marriage.
They shared the news via a joint statement.
“After nine years of marriage, we announced our separation.
“We have mutually and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways.
“As our sole priority is dealing with this difficult transition for our daughter, we ask that our privacy be respected during this sensitive time to protect her well-being.
“We will have no further comment.”

Richardson and Beaumont married in 2015. Since 2020, they have co-starred as fictional versions of themselves on Meet the Richardsons , a comedy series about tumultuous married lives.
Richardson has previously revealed how he works with his wife.
“Give us some credit, I think we're really good at a very intense thing, you know, working on a project together that literally takes a full year to write a series, edit it and promote it,” he told Metro .
“We've been trying to figure it out, and it's not easy to strike the balance between being private and maintaining a private life, but I think we're really good at it.
“Obviously it's difficult sometimes because marriage is difficult anyway, you know, I could be a dentist, you know, Lucy could be a teacher, and marriage is difficult.
“So that extra element doesn't make it any easier. But I do think we're actually pretty good.”
