In the keynote speech session, Fan Weicheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and dean of the Institute of Public Security of Tsinghua University, introduced the development of national security disciplines in my country and made suggestions on how to promote interdisciplinary construction that better meets national security needs. Chen Bo, President of the China Institute of International Studies, combined with the current international security situation, talked about how to implement the overall national security concept from the perspective of external work. Zhang Yuyan, director of the Institute of World Economics and Politics at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, shared his views on how to strengthen the theoretical construction of national security studies. Cheng Lin, former Party Secretary and President of the People's Public Security University of China, talked about how to better understand and implement the overall national security concept from the perspective of people's security based on the current situation. Major General Tang Yongsheng, a professor at the National Security College of the National Defense University, analyzed the national security issues that need to be focused on and studied in the new era and new journey.
Yang Mingjie, President of the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, said in conclusion that it is necessary to deeply understand the distinctive Marxist principles and Chinese characteristics embodied in the overall national security concept, and fully understand its powerful ideological power and practical power in safeguarding national security.
