“The first thing we saw was a lot of injured people in the car.”
Harry Kane's children were rushed to hospital after being involved in a car accident.
Three of the England captain's children were involved in an accident when a Mercedes van they were driving collided with a Renault in Schaffran, Munich on Monday.
Kane has three children – Louis, three, Vivienne, five, and Ivy, seven.
None of the children were seriously injured, but the fire chief said they were “extremely lucky” to have escaped largely unscathed, Mail Online reported.
Daniel Buck, chief of the Hohenschäftlarn volunteer fire station, told the BBC: “All the cars were severely damaged. The first thing we saw was that there were a lot of injured people in all the cars.
“The good news is that no one suffered serious injuries, it was more of a minor injury, such as pain in the neck from head to top, which is typically a symptom of a car accident.
“Thank God no one was really hurt. It's really lucky for everyone.”
It is not believed Kane's wife Kate or youngest child Henry, who was born in August, were in the car at the time of the crash.
Kane's spokesman said the child was “doing well and just went to the hospital for a routine check-up.”
