Tech executive Christian Dumont has been charged with three misdemeanors, including child abuse/endangerment, assault and violation of a protective order.
The couple married in 2019 and have one child, Christian Georges.
In March, the Los Angeles Police Department arrested Dumont in connection with a domestic violence incident at his home.
A week after the incident, the two filed for divorce.
Quinn has yet to speak publicly about her ex-husband, but her attorney Jacqueline Spalanha released a brief statement to Page Six.
She sees the charges as a critical step in protecting Christine and her son, Christian.
“He has now been formally charged with abusing his 2-year-old child, assaulting Christine Quinn and violating a restraining order.
“We believe this development is a crucial step in safeguarding the legal and personal interests of both victims and trust that this matter will continue to be treated with the utmost seriousness it deserves.”
Christine Quinn rose to fame on the hit Netflix series Selling the sunset.
She welcomed her son in May 2019.
Kristen confirmed the news on Instagram. Alongside a photo of her baby bump, the mom wrote: “It's official! I'm a mom! Baby C made her grand entrance over the weekend. I'm so grateful to my husband and all the amazing doctors and nurses who have helped me. Although It’s a little scary, but we’re very grateful.”
