Even those who like the kit can't ignore this

Liverpool fans have been reacting to the team's new kit for next season, with many asking the same question.

On Thursday morning, Liverpool unveiled their new home kit for the 2024/25 season.

The new jersey is inspired by the 1984 European Cup final, when the Merseyside club beat Roma on penalties at the Stadio Olimpico to become European champions for the fourth time.

The all-red jersey was released on social media, showing off some of the team's biggest stars wearing the jersey.

While many people like the look of next season's jerseys, there's one aspect of the jerseys that many can't seem to ignore: the collar.

It's safe to say it has a unique look, with a thick white and red collar on the shoulders and back of the neck.

One person's reaction to the kit wrote: “This is a monster. What's with all the yellow thread and why is there half a collar!?”

Another said “the collar is rubbish” but from the neck down they loved the kit.

Someone else wrote: “There's always something wrong with the collar of the Liverpool shirt. The whole shirt looks great up to the neck.”

A fourth commented: “You'd be lying if you said you loved this collar.”

“I don't like those collars,” another fan said.

Well, Reds fans will have to get used to this unique collar and they will hopefully be able to associate this kit with winning trophies at the end of next season.
