She posts on Instagram for the first time in years
Meghan Markle is back on Instagram six years after deactivating all her social media accounts following her engagement to now-husband Prince Harry.
This time, the Duchess of Sussex’s online account is called American Riviera Orchards (@americanrivieraorchard) with a blue verification tick.
At the time of writing, the page has a growing user base of 359,000.
The account has a logo, a link to a website where fans can enter their email address to join a waitlist, and a bio that reads:
“Author: Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
Founded in 2024.“
The account posted a story, a short video story set to the music of Nancy Wilson i hope you love Meghan is shown baking, arranging flowers and wearing gowns as a woman.
Also uploaded are nine grid posts without a comments section, which form the brand logo on the homepage.
What is an American Riviera Orchard?
According to documents seen by Sky News, brand Seems to be a luxury lifestyle brand.
The documents, filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office last month, seek to register the brand's name and trademark protection for goods including textiles, tableware, jellies, jams, marmalades and various food spreads.

The application was submitted to a company called Mom knows bestregistered in January.
However, after the brand posted it on Instagram, everyone said the same thing about the name.

However, not everyone on social media understands this, with many slamming the “word salad” of a name on X.
One person wrote: “I don't understand the name American Riviera Orchards?”
A second tweeted: “She calls it the American Riviera Orchard? What the hell does that mean? Does she sell apples now?”
“Wishing Meghan the best but American Riviera Orchard sounds like the name of one of Crufts' dogs,” a third commented.
