The outgoing Hammers boss will start his new role just weeks after the Premier League season ends.
David Moyes looks set to play a very different role in managing a Premier League side next month when he joins the official Euro 2024 talkSport commentary team.
Last week, West Ham announced via their official website The Twitter account claims Moyes will part ways with the club at the end of the season, with former Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui apparently agreeing a deal to succeed his former Everton boss.
West Ham United can confirm that David Moyes will leave the club by mutual consent when his contract expires at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Moyes' side were beaten 5-0 by Chelsea last Sunday and are currently in ninth place. Many fans will choose to remember the good times under Moyes, who led the team to a 2-1 victory over Italian side Fiorentina to win the UEFA Europa League trophy last year.
However, it appears the former Scotland international centre-back will not have much time off after parting ways with the east London outfit.
Moyes will receive a heavy penalty in his final home game at the London Stadium this Saturday, when West Ham face Luton Town, who are fighting for Championship relegation.
The 61-year-old's final game in charge will be against title contenders Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, May 19.
Moyes will become part of talkSport's commentary and pundit team covering Euro 2024 from 14 June.
England and Scotland both qualify for this year's World Cup, with Moyes set to join former Premier League manager Alan Pardew, ex-Scotland captain Graeme Souness and Ashley Young, who played under Moyes at Manchester United. Played under Moyes as manager.
TalkSport announced the tournament's line-up earlier today and will cover all 51 matches taking place over four weeks.

Moyes has also been linked with another managerial opportunity which would see him move away from club management and into international football.
The Football Association of Ireland are currently searching for a permanent successor to Stephen Kenny, who was sacked as Republic of Ireland head coach after poor performances in Euro 2024 qualifiers, but may not announce their choice until September.
Former United defender John O'Shea is currently interim manager but another former compatriot has suggested Moyes would be suitable for the vacant role.
Kevin Kilbane played alongside Preston North End in the 1990s and was signed by then Everton manager ion in 2003, where he played Twitter His former boss is a perfect fit for the job in the Republic of Ireland.
He will be perfect.

The only obstacle to the FAI's bid to secure Moyes for the job is his £6m salary at West Ham United. Although he has never coached an international team in his 27-year managerial career, his victories at Everton and the Hammers make it possible for him to successfully take charge of the Boys in Green.
