Minogue wrote in the caption: “I’ve been lucky enough to know and work with the queer community most of my life and I can’t wait for Sunday night.
“Just to clarify, I'm not breaking down and I'm not declaring that I'm lesbian or queer, I'm straight and in a long-term heterosexual relationship,” she added.
“This is the first season of I Kissed a Girl and let’s not let this distract from a series that is incredibly important for the representation of lesbian, bisexual and queer women on television. ”
Minogue's fans came out to support her in the comments section of the post.
