Willie Mullins' control of the nation's hunting competition has perhaps never been more evident.
The Irish trainer will lead an impressive team of 70 horses to Prestbury Park this week.
As it stands, he has already broken the record of 94 wins and is expected to pass the 100-year mark come Friday.
In fact, by Thursday morning he might weigh in the 100s.
Few could sum up Mullins' dominance like this, which at the time of writing would see him pass the ten pre-race favorites in the first two days of competition alone.
He trained for three of the four championship races, the only exception being Gordon Elliott's Teahupoo, who ran at poor odds in the World Hurdle.
Prestbury Cup
Perhaps due to Mullins' continued success, Ireland continued their dominance over England at the Horse Racing Olympics. In fact, England have only won the Prestbury Cup once in the past eight years.
With Mullins receiving support from the likes of Henry de Bromhead and Gordon Elliott, the Irishman will look to have another successful week in the Cotswolds.
ground
John “Shark” Hanlon's Gold Cup hopes rest on the shoulders of his mount Shock. They were in the hands of Wexford jockey Jordan Gainford, but both lay helpless in the arms of the weather gods. Kilkenny-based trainer Shark said in the build-up to the festival that The People's Horse would not race if the weather went against him during Cheltenham week.
Hewwick, like Joseph O'Brien's Bainbridge (favorite for Thursday's Ryanair Chase), is a hard ground horse who won't race if the weather is wet and the ground softens .
