Chelsea could temporarily lose their home
Chelsea could be forced to play away games at Stamford Bridge for up to six years if plans to change home grounds go ahead.
Club officials are considering the long-term future of the stadium and are considering the possibility of expanding and modernizing the venue.
Another option is to buy the land and build elsewhere, The Sun reported.
Further reports claim there is frustration within the hierarchy at the lack of progress since the Storr Charity trustees approved the sale of the veterans' home to the club last October.
As part of the refurbishment, Stamford Bridge's capacity will be increased to 60,000, with the two-time European champions forced to play away games during the work period.
However, any work would leave the Blues needing an alternative home for at least four years, with any expansion work not due to begin until 2026.
Where will Chelsea play in the meantime?
Several destinations are suggested, but the most popular suggestions include: Wembley, Twickenham and Craven Cottage.
Todd Boehly has reportedly held some form of discussion with Fulham boss Tony Khan over a potential land share, but while that would be convenient, given Craven Cottage can only Accommodating 25,700 plots of land, the loss of income may be prohibitive.
Alternatively, Chelsea may choose to stagger the refurbishment process and switch to a backup, but this will take longer to complete.
