he looks completely different

Images from British comedian Jon Richardson's new series of sitcom have left fans completely confused.

The 41-year-old actor is best known for his work in Cats 10 and working with Russell Howard on BBC Radio 6.

Since 2020, however, the star has launched his own sitcom, Meet the Richardsons, in which he plays a fictional version of himself alongside his wife Lucy Beaumont.

With the new series set to air next week, the first images from the show have surfaced, with Jon surprising people as he transforms into an old man.

A source told The Mirror the reason behind the shocking look.

“Jon became an OAP,” they explained to the outlet.

“The transformation was just unbelievable. Jon loved such a great disguise and used the opportunity to play pranks.

“He went to a pub and pissed off the punters and made them laugh.”

Fans have responded to the photos on social media, and it seems many feel the same but don't know who.

“I don’t recognize Jon Richardson,” one person wrote.

Number two: “I like Jon Richardson, but I don't know it's him. He does like cardigans, though.”

Others, however, were more observant and they immediately knocked Jon out of his clothes.

“He was instantly recognizable by his cardigan,” one person said.

A second agreed: “At least he can wear his own clothes!”

The upcoming episode of “Meet the Richardsons” will air on April 8.
