Would you like to try this? Or is this blasphemy?
An official Guinness brewery in the US city of Baltimore posted photos online of their controversial combo, which involves dipping a chocolate chip cookie into a pint of the black substance.
According to them, people love it and it has become a sought-after delicacy in their restaurant.
They created the dessert “Milk and Cookies” on their Facebook page, describing the snack as “warm homemade chocolate chip cookies sprinkled with sea salt and served with a half pint of milk stout.”
The comments below the post indicate it's a fan favorite.
One person claimed it was “two of her favorite things” while another shared; “I used to make this with Oreos before chocolate stout came along”.
Is this just another food extreme taken by the Yankees, or can it take off on this side of the pond?
The post also inspired some people to share their own unusual Guinness spending habits.
One user revealed: “I used to love eating the heads scooped with cheese and onion chips (that was the only flavor that worked)”.
Not surprisingly, reviews only came from Baltimore's Guinness Open Door Brewery itself.
Does this fall under the slogan “To everyone in his own right”? Or do the Guinness police need to step in and shut down immediately?
