Ladies and gentlemen, Aldi has done it again.

They've simply combined two of the best things that exist on the planet: Cadbury's Creme Egg and Baileys Cream to launch new Ballycastle Chocolate Cream, a Baileys-style creamy drink.

According to Aldi, best served “straight over the rocks, or as part of an egg-chocolate cocktail,” the smooth, creamy mixture with subtle chocolate and sweet vanilla flavors has shoppers excited.

A Facebook group for bargain hunters showed a photo of the bottle, which features Creme Egg blue, red and yellow.

Launching on March 14 – just in time for Easter – a 70cl bottle is priced at £7.69, and of course, shoppers can't wait to try it.

One user said: “This needs to be added to the shopping list,” while another added: “We really need to try this.

“You know I'm going to give it my all,” commented a third.

It's the latest in a range of seasonal drinks from the popular supermarket, which has a number of award-winning drinks.

Ballycastle Blonde Chocolate (£6.49, 70cl) won a gold medal at last year's Spirits Business Liqueur Masters, while Ballycastle White Chocolate (£6.49, 70cl) won a silver medal.
