There are constant great additions to Prime Video every few days so it’s easy to miss a gem or two.

That’s why we’re drawing your attention to one of the best crime films of the 90s, which just got dropped on the streamer in the last week.

We are, of course, talking about Reservoir Dogs, the legendary debut film from acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino.

It’s hard to believe that Tarantino was just 28 when Reservoir Dogs made its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 1992, and it remains of of the most iconic films of his distinguished career.

The flick stars an ensemble cast featuring Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Chris Penn, Steve Buscemi, Lawrence Tierney, Michael Madsen, Tarantino himself, and Edward Bunker.

While the story is a simple one and follows a group of diamond thieves whose heist of a jewelry store goes terribly wrong, the execution is what makes the film really special.

Reservoir Dogs perfectly encapsulates Tarantino’s directing style from the go: ultra violent, full of profanity and oozing cool from start to finish.

Tarantino also brings his now-recognisable pop culture references and self-awareness to Reservoir Dogs, which immediately lets the viewer know who is behind the camera.
