BBC presenter Gabby Rosling says ghost of Paul O'Grady 'haunts' her

“He always said he was going to bother everybody.”

BBC presenter Gabby Rosling claims the late Paul O'Grady “haunts” her.

O'Grady first rose to fame as drag queen Lily Savage before going on to a stellar television career, including The Paul O'Grady Show and For the Love of Dogs.

Rosling was a close friend of the star, who died a year ago today (March 28) at the age of 67.

The Morning Show host revealed she believed O'Grady was “looking out for all of us”.

“I've got a new show recently,” she said, via the Daily Star .

“I always call Savage to discuss the new show – I always call him Savage – so I just call him. But in that moment, you're like 'Oh no, I can't'. But I know He's bugging me.

“He always said he was going to haunt everyone – that he would come back and spy on all of us. He knew how much we loved him because at the end of every call, I would say, 'Oh my God, you know how much I love You,' he would also say, 'you know I love you too. Now get lost.'

Roslyn first met O'Grady when she was hosting Channel 4's The Big Breakfast, when Paul appeared as Lily.
