7 days have past since Blogger challenge started !

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

As I told you about this challenge yesterday here, it’s high time I should get involved in the project. Since 7 days have gone, instead of doing/writing about 7 previous task in seven separate posts, I should discuss them here itself :

The task so far were :

Day 1 - Email a New Reader
Day 2 - Run a ‘First Time Reader Audit’ on your Blog
Day 3 - Search for and Join a Forum
Day 4 - Interlink Archived Posts
Day 5 - Conduct an ‘About Page Audit’
Day 6 - Email an Old Timer Reader
Day 7 - Plan Your Next Week’s Posting Schedule

Let me see what I would do about them. We take them one by one :

Day 1 - Email a New Reader

My Comment : My blog is very new. It’s only 12 posts old. So there is no reader at all whom should I email. Task completed :)

Day 2 - Run a ‘First Time Reader Audit’ on your Blog

My comments: Again as the blog is brand new, it’s not possible to run this kind of audit. Task completed. Again.

Day 3 - Search for and Join a Forum

My comments : My blog is an India centric Blog. Here I write (shall write) about various topics related to India. So should I join a forum about India. OK I shall search and join it. But to be very frank, even if I join any of such forum, I shall have no time to make a meaningful contribution into that forum. What about joining a common Blogger forum where I could all my posts ? Well….may be it’s another task. So I shall join a forum. Task completed partially :)

Day 4 - Interlink Archived Posts

My blog is very new (what can do ?). How can I interlink these 12 posts which are not related to each other in anyway? However, I have linked this post with my last post (see first line) as they both are related to blogging. Apart from this, there is nothing I can do. So task completed :)

Day 5 - Conduct an ‘About Page Audit’

My Comments : It means I should see whether I can improve my about page. OK I checked it. It’s quite good right now and needs no significant improvement. However, I shall definitely want to add an ‘Subscribe to my RSS‘ link there. I’ll do this soon. Task completed.

Day 6 - Email an Old Timer Reader

My Comments : There are no old time Reader. All readers are brand new. Even where are they ?? Task completed. :)

Day 7 - Plan Your Next Week’s Posting Schedule

My Comments : Yes this is something which I can do. I have made a plan in my mind. I am going to post about blogging and blogging and blogging…. I hope there will be something about India too. Task completed :)

I know that this blog has some limitations owing to it’s very new status. Nevertheless, I am ready to take this challenge even for this new blog.

      Hi Eklavya
Your post made me laugh so much - I had read your previous post hours ago and are worn out - but loved your sense of humour. BTW didn’t you say not to reveal personal side?

Now I do think you could still do a First time Reader Audit? And now that I have posted on your site you can email me?

      Great post

      Sue :)
