Today, I changed the theme of this blog. There are two main reasons for it. Firstly, the earlier theme ‘Misty Look‘ , though was very attractive, was not allowing me enough space. There was just one sidebar which was filled with all the stuff. I was thinking of adding more heading/sections in my sidebar which was just not possible with that theme.
Secondly, I was looking for a 3-columns wordpress theme which works perfectly even on a 14 inch monitor with a 800*600 resolution. Since most of my visitors will be from India , where desktop PCs with 14-15″ monitor are still in huge majority, I do not want any distortion in the look of my blog owing to a small monitor or differenr resolution. While deciding a theme for your blog you must give full consideration to these facts – regarding your niche audeince, what kind of PCs they will be using, the monitor’s resolution of a majority of them etc.
There are very few three-columns WP themes, which are displayed nicely in all monitor resolutions. After searching for many 3 columns WP themes, I have decided to install Three columns kubrick template by LiewCF which is one of those few themes. It is a very simple and neat theme. Further, it has enough space for adding more sections in the sidebar. So, as of now, I’ll stick to this theme.
