Kaun Banega Crorepati 4, the indian version of ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’ is back again. This time on Sony. This realty quiz show of general knowledge is the first and the most popular of its genre that stared the era of reality TV in India.

Amitabh in the begining of the Show

Again, after a long gap, the great Amitabh Bachchan is anchoring this mesmerizing show which once made the entire India hooked to Television in 2001.

At that time, the first Kaun Banega Crorepati’ ensured the revival of two person. First person is Shri Amitabh Bachchan himself who was struggling under the loss of ABCL (his company which was struck in a financial conundrum.) Further, his film career was also not going great. At tha particular time, the KBC came as a fresh breath of air for Amitabh and he again became the icon of the nation. Later, he got offer from Yashraj Films and since then he has never looked back.

The second person was… well it is not a person. It was ‘Star Plus’ who at that time was struggling to carved a niche with Hindi audience. At that time, KBC gave a huge boost of popularity to Star Plus and it very well cashed the popularity with its another mega soap ‘ Kunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ – the serial which made Ekta Kapoor a household name in India.

This time, the only person who must expected a fresh lease of life from KBC in none another than ‘Sony Entertainment Channel’ . For past few years, Sony is legging way behind Zee, Star Plus and the new entrant ‘Colours’. What used to be the most popular channel of Indian masses has become a sort of also ran. Except the thriller ‘CID’ (which itself has become boring and repetitive) , at present there is no TV serial on Sony which can matched the popularity of other programs of ZEE, Colours & Star Plus. I hope Sony will be able to encash the popularity it will gain through KBC.

Meanwhile, if you want to participate in KBC 4 then visit this link :

Hello world,

Delhi is witnessing some of the most remarkable climate shift in the world. What used to happen in Eastern India in every monsoon, the same is happening in Northern India. In September, Delhi has seen rainfall in excess of a whooping 90% than the average rainfall !

In my known memory, I have never seen such deluge in Delhi. Th last time Delhi saw this rain was in 1978 (the year of my birth !). Since, then it never happened this way. ]

This was the park opposite to my house this morning. You can see the water is on street too.

Heavy Rain

It was almost unbelievable to say that this year Delhi will get more rainfall than Kolkata, the Eastern India metro. However, this time, Kolkata has received lesser rainfall than Delhi !. My mother who lives in Kolkata confirm this recently.

This is the first time in many many years that people have got bored with rain and want to get rid of it.

As the date for Commonwealth Games is approaching fast, the heavy rain has added to the already delayed schedule. As a citizen of India, I want the games to be successful, but given the condition here, I am afraid to say that Delhi is not prepared.

It has been a very rough monsoon for India. There has been unprecedented floods in Rajasthan, Haryana & Punjab whereas the natural gainer of rain like Bihar and West Bengal are facing a severe water crunch !

I wish the rain God ‘ Indra’ will show some sympathy to plights of Delhi.

Hello everyone,

As you must be aware that the Indian Blogger.Com blog (the one you are reading right now) has a collection of useful articles on India, its life in general, its economy and other relevant Indian things.

This blog is basically a reflection of my thought on various things which happen in India – be it economy, the terrorist attacks, the cricket, movie or what not?

However, of late, I am finding myself extremely busy in my other offline and online activities which leave almost no time to read contents about India.

As such whenever I come here to write something, I get a big blank from my mind because it just can’t think as to what to write about India when, honestly, I, myself, am no so updated about latest happenings in India.

I believe that an honest reflection can only come by getting involved into the things. When you are no longer in touch, you start loosing the edge over your subjects.

This is what I am facing right now. In my desperate attempts to establish, maintain and promote a collection of niche websites I own, I am finding it extremely difficult to write quality stuff here on this website. This has resulted into a sense of guilt inside me.

An extremely demanding offline job is also taking its toll my online activities.

As such I have two options with me:-

(1) Either to stop posting on this blog and let it be in a hibernation mode with a tiny hope that in a not very near future, may be I will be able to write India specific articles on this blog.

OR

(2) Till such time I find time to write my India specific posts, I change the topic of this blog and start writing on topics related to my other online activities so that this blog can survive. There are many other topics on which I can write without getting a guilt feeling of not knowing them well.

I am not decided yet. However, some friends have suggested that I should use the option (2) to let this blog survive instead of sending it in a long hibernation mode.

I will write more about it in my next post. Meanwhile I am open to all suggestions.

In a sad incident, two people were electrocuted in Chandani Chowk due to heavy rain resulting into falling of an electric wire from a pole.

The only thing which is pleasing is the huge shorfall in temperatue. The weather is a great respite from the hot and humid condition prevailing in the city.

Monsoon has arrived with a bang !

Hello all,

For the past one year, I have been able to just write a few posts on this blog. Yet the good thing is that I am still getting regular visitors for my some good written articles of past.

My project for which I stopped blogging, unfortunately, had failed miserably. Apart from monetary loss, I lost thousand of productive hours and peace of mind.

In fact I also lost PageRank of this blog.

When I left blogging, this blog was having a healthy PageRank of 4. Now it has come down to a PR 2 Blog.

Well I read somewhere that :

” What you are left with is more important and valuable than what you have lost”

While trusting my faith on this great saying, I hereby start my new innings as a blogger here

So I am back. Permanently this time !!

Hello all,

Last month was one of the busiest month since I came onlinle. I had stopped blogging here as I intended to complete content for my other website. Yet, personal commitments of varied nature compelled my to devote all my spare time in mundane activities. I was in Meerut to attend/manage a marriage. Then I went to Mumbai for attending another marriage. Later I got busy in attending/organising a family function.

Being a married man has its own compulsions. Particularly when you have a full time job and a little kid.

It appears a very long time since I last wrote something. I am feeling like an absolute beginner. The hangover of a very busy and hectic last month will take some time to recede.

Many interesting things happen in India in past few days. I hope to return to a regular blogging schedule very soon.
