Hi to all,

After a long hiatus, I got the time to look at some of my unattended blogs. On one of them I find a huge pile of 850 pending comments (most of them spammy). As I am always hard pressed for time these days, it felt quite a task to mass delete all these comments in the batches of 20s – the default WordPress allow right now. So I tried to look for some shortcut method for mass deleting my pending comments in one go.

The First Method : The hard one

The first solution I found was at this site. Here an excellent advice to mass delete comments by going into the control panel and running a SQL command in my php admin panel has been explained. Though, this method is very effective, it has some elements of real risk particularly when you have more than one blog in your control panel .As the comments on the post suggest, many users delete the comments for the wrong blog ! Further this is something that can’t be reversed. Since I have many other blogs on my server, I did not have the time to exactly pinpoint the particular word press database for which I wanted the mass deletion.

The Second & Easy method

Then I came across a super easy method for mass deleting method. A very intelligent fellow has developed a plugin to do this task. It is called ‘Delete pending WordPress comments’ plugin. Just install the plugin and in one go it will safely delete all pending comments from your blog.

It has been a huge time saver for me. Download the plugin here

Internet has presented a huge opportunity to people for making money online. Everyday millions of online transactions are taking place. People are buying all kinds of stuff online. This has resulted in an enormous online market for almost everything imaginable. Apart from big online stores like Amazon & Ebay which sell thousands and thousands of items in hundreds of categories, there is an emergence of relatively small websites that caters to only one particular niche. These specific websites are build around a particular niches and sells items related to the niche. For example, the site FamilyPet.com caters only to topics related to Pets and sell products related to pets.

Finding profitable niches and building websites around them has become one of the most trustworthy models for making money from Internet. The reason for calling it trustworthy is that by using right promotional strategies and developing a search engine friendly website, a niche related website can become a huge money-spinner.

If you have any interest in making money online and have ever indulged into searching about this topic, you must be aware of how much emphasis is given on finding a profitable niche before doing anything. I think finding a profitable subject for your website is the most important factor that’ll ultimately decided the ultimate fate of your website. If you choose a not profitable topic for your website, you are simply asking for trouble. There is no point wasting your time, money and energy on a venture that will not yield the desired fruit (money). So the first thing you should do towards building a profitable website is to find a profitable niche.

Now the question is how to find a profitable niche?

This actually is very simple. Just make some research and see what people are buying on net. If people are buying something on net, it shows that there is a market for such products. Few important places to research on what people are buying are :

1) Amazon New Releases : This will give you a list of all the new DVD’s, Music, Books, Toys, Apparel, and Video Games which are brand new and are likely to generate buzz in the days to come.

2) Amazon’s Hot Sellers : This will give you a list of all hot sellers which are being bought by products

3) Google Product Search On the home page there are 25 products that people have recently searched for on this site. It’ll give you a fair estimate of what is in demands online.

4) Magazines.com This is an amazing site for finding profitable niches. Magazines spend a lot of money testing what to put on the covers of their magazines. Further, if there is any magazine on a subject it means that there is a buying market for that product.

5) ClickBank.com : Clickbank is a marketplace for Digital products. Here you can make a search for the most popular products in each category which gives you a hint of what is selling on the net.

6) Finally please have a look at this video, which is made by a niche expert ‘Adam Short’. This guy conducts a niche marketing membership course in which he gives fist hand training to absolute newbies on establishing profitable web business on net in various profitable niche. Here, in this video watch him picking Hot Markets out of thin air’ while strolling down the 3rd street promenade in Santa Monica, California. It is a very interesting video that will provide you numerous ideas for profitable niches. See the video below by clicking on its image :

So here concludes my post on choosing a profitable topic for your website. I hope it’ll help you in taking the right decision as you build your web business.

After I wrote my full RSS feed post where I explain why & how you can ensure a full RSS feed for your blog, one of my friend told me that despite installing the full text feed plugin, his blog is still getting truncated at the point where he used <!––more––> tag. I got confused as to why it was happening. One reason that I found that it may be due to a cache issue and probably it’ll take some time to be full reflected in the RSS reader. However, on checking with another RSS reader, I still found his feed truncated.

So I searched Google for an answer..and found it

It’s very simple.

Just go to the Reading Option of your wordpress blog and in the Syndication feed option, choose ‘full text’.

See this screenshot :

Doing this will ensure a full RSS feed of your blog post.

I have also found a very effective video tutorial on this. Here is this video for all the newbies among you :

If you are blogging, you must be aware of RSS. (If not read this). I have a list of my favorite blogs in my RSS reader and I read them regularly. However, it is a little annoying to see that many bloggers (probably unknowingly) allow only partial feed of their blog post in RSS reader. Though their main intention is to prompt the reader to actually visit their blogs (for seeing advertisement or whatever reason), it acts as a big turn off.

Take my case itself. Owing to lack of time, it is not possible for me to visit each of my favorite blogs separately in my browser. I prefer to read them in my reader so that I can go through them quickly and grasp all the relevant posts.

Man do I read them? No. I don’t read any post from start to finish unless of course it has some exceptionally unique content. I just scan most of the posts quickly to have a general idea of what is being written in these blogs.

So when I came across a post which is incomplete owing to partial feed, I prefer to ignore /pend it for future reading (i.e. for reading in spare time). And to tell you the truth I seldom or never have spare time.

The end result: I leave all the incomplete post.

Do you know that many of us blogger don’t know that the WordPress truncates your feed’s content anywhere you insert a <!––more––> tag ? This is particularly true for those bloggers who are still using WordPress 2.1 and have not upgraded their blog. So all of your RSS subscribers who read your blog in their RSS reader (like me) will only see a partial post and, in order to read your post completely, they will have to actually visit your blog in their browser.

Well many loyal readers will come to your blog. But if some of them are like me (hard pressed for time), they will simply postpone reading your post till they complete other posts. Simple.

In fact this blog was also a victim of this partial feed. When I saw my blog’s feed in the RSS reader, I realized that all my posts where I used the <!––more––> tag, had been truncated and were only partially visible in the RSS reader. It was a big embarrassment to find that my own blog was a victim of this partial feed syndrome.

So what is the solution? A very simple one really.

Upgrade your WordPress blog. It is said that the WordPress 2.5 will rectify this ‘more’ tag error and allow full feed. But it appears that WordPress 2.5 is yet to be released.(version 2.3.3 is the latest version till date). So here is the another solution which I am using myself on this blog.

Just install ‘Full Text Feed‘ plugin in your blog. Activating this plugin will ensure that your blog will display it’s full RSS feed in the RSS reader even if you have used the <!––more––> tag. I have become a huge fan of this plugin. Thanks a lot to Ronald Heft, Jr. of Cavemonkey50.com who developed this great plugin.

This plugin is a must have plugin.

Now open your RSS Reader and check whether your blog is displaying full RSS feed or not. If yes, great! If not, please understand that this is costing you visitors. Go and install the ‘Full Text Feed’ plugin. It will be a great help to your loyal readers J

If you have spent some time on Internet you must have heard about this three letters word : RSS. If you already don’t know about this useful tool for efficiently browsing the web, here is a simple introductory article which will explain everything you need to know about RSS .

OK let’s start !

What is RSS anyway ?

RSS is an acronym for : Really Simple Syndication

It is also known as : Rich Site Summary

Some people also called it : Really Simple Subscribing.

In simplest terms,

“RSS is a simple and efficient way to keep in touch with a website without actually visiting it “

Yes. To keep in touch without actually visiting !

Now what does that mean ?

Let us understand it by an example.

Suppose you are planning to set up a small garden in your house and you are in need of good information on gardening. You search the Internet for some good websites on gardening and come across a nice website with excellent contents on gardening. You find that this website has a huge collection of Gardening tips such as : How to choose the best saplings, best gardening tools, places to buy good composts, water schedule in different seasons and precautions in Gardening etc.

You realize that this informative website is filled up with so much useful information on gardening that it is impossible for you to read all the information in one sitting. So what will you do?

If you are web savvy, you will simply add the site to your favorite folder. You will bookmark the site so that you can read it later whenever you want.

Adding a website to your Favorite (in Internet Explorer) or Bookmark (in Mozilla Firefox) folder is the most preferred method to revisit a website for future reference.

However, this excellent method has some flaws in it. Extending the same example of Gardening tips websites, suppose, instead of just one website, you came across five or six excellent websites on gardening and you want to read all of them. The only solution is to add all these websites in your favorite folder so that you can select and read these websites one by one from your browser’s favorite folder. Right?

However, as you read these websites on gardening, you will find that many of these websites keep adding new articles and tips about gardening on regular basis. So in order to keep in touch with all the latest additions on these websites, you will have to visit them regularly through your favorite folder.

However, as you regularly visit these websites, you’ll also find that not all of them get updated daily. Most of them follow an infrequent updating schedule; some are updated in 2-3 days, some in 4-5 days and some on weekly/monthly basis. As all these websites are updated by their owners depending upon their own convenience, it is not possible to know exactly when a site will be updated. So you are left with no choice but to check these websites daily by actually visiting them in your browser.

Well, if you are passionate about Gardening and have lots of free time, you can afford to actually visit these important websites on Gardening on daily basis. However, practically this approach is not always possible.

What if, in addition to Gardening, you are also passionate about Home Decoration, Fishing and Muscle-Building? Can you really afford to visit all your favorites websites on Gardening, Home Decoration, Fishing & Muscle Building daily and keep track of their latest updates? Though it is always possible to do this, practical realities of life do not allow so much browsing time to most of us. We all are busy in our lives and, owing to time constraints, it is not possible to keep a track of all our favorite websites on daily basis by actually visiting them in our browser.

So what is the solution?

One solution is to subscribe to the newsletters of these websites. You must be aware that many websites publish a weekly e-zine or newsletter that contains a summary of all the latest updates made on the website .

This newsletter is sent to the subscribers on daily/weekly basis. This newsletter can be subscribed by readers using an opt-in form and every subscriber gets a copy of the newsletter in his email. So if you subscribe to the newsletter of the websites of your choice related to Gardening, Home Decoration, Fishing & Muscle Building, you can be in touch with the latest updates on these websites through their newsletter. This method is much better than daily visiting the websites using the favorite folder of your browser. As you need to check only your inbox, this results in a quick reading of all the updates.

Subscribing to newsletters/e-zines of your favorite websites is an excellent way to keep abreast with the latest updates on them. However, this method also has some flaws which can make it a bit complicated & annoying in the long run.

First of all you have to disclose your email address to the website owners for subscribing to their list. Though in a majority of the cases, the email is not disclosed to third parties, you never know when and how your email can reach to spammers which may flood your inbox with shit. The element of email misuse is always there when subscribing to a newsletter.

Secondly, as you keep subscribing to newsletters of your favorite websites, slowly you will realize that everyday your inbox is getting filled up with emails from these websites and it is taking a substantial part of your time to segregate the mails that really matters. If you are a professional and work online, a constant flood of regular emails even from your favorite websites will soon starts irritating you. Further, the task of opening every email, reading it, deleting it or shifting it to another folder will be a time consuming process in itself. If you subscribe to a list of more than 10 newsletters, you will always be involved in managing your emails. Further, if you take a break from your online activity for some time (say to spend your vacation), you should be ready to find an overfilled inbox of unread emails when you return.

In short, subscribing to newsletters of your favorite websites can also become an unmanageable task.

So is there any solution to be in touch with your favorite websites in an efficient and time-saving manner ?

Here comes the RSS.

The solution to the problems being faced by regular readers of a website in keeping abreast with its latest activities lies in a powerful technical facility known as RSS.

What actually happens in RSS is that whenever a website updates itself by means of producing an article/news item, it simultaneously produces a document that contains in itself the summary of all the updates made on the website. This document is in the form of an XML document. The ‘XML’ is a specialized language of web (similar to HTML language) which can be accessed by specialized softwares (knows as RSS Readers) that reproduce it in a readable language for the end user. The summary of the updates written on the XML document is known as a ‘Feed’. This XML document usually has an .xml extension.

So whenever somebody wants to keep in touch with the latest updates being made on a website he simply subscribed to its RSS feed. Subscribing to an RSS feed is as simple as copy & paste. You just need to copy the address of the RSS feed of your favorite website in your RSS reader. Now whenever you want to know whether any new updates has been made on a website, you only need to check it’s RSS feed in your RSS reader. If there have been any update, the same will be reflected in the feed. Simple

This way you can easily know whether a website/blog is being updated or not without actually visiting it.

RSS has some very significant advantages over the other two methods of keeping in touch with a website (i.e adding a site in the favorite folder or subscribing to its newsletter). You don’t have to save the file in your browser’s favorite folder and visit it regularly to check any new updates. As and when the site is updated, you can read it in the RSS reader. Further, you don’t have to disclose your email address to subscribe to the ezine of the site/blog. You only need to add the address of the RSS feed in your RSS reader. This ensures that you’ll never need to worry about receiving unsolicited mails in your inbox.

Let me elaborate now a bit on how to use an RSS reader. As I already explained above, an RSS Reader is a specialized software which interprets the RSS feed (written in XML language) and present it in a readable form to end user. Though there have been many online/offline RSS reader available, one of the best RSS readers is Google Reader which is fast, free and extremely reliable. There is nothing to download as the Google Reader is online. You only need a free Google account to use their reader. Just go to Google.com/reader, login into your account and add your favorite feeds. After adding the RSS feed, you will be able to read them in the reader easily. They will be listed in the form of a list just like emails in your inbox.

Alternatively here are two excellent offline RSS software which you can download and installed in your computer :

Alnera Feed Buster ( Paid $19.95)

RSS Reader (Free)

Currently a majority of all websites/blogs are coming up with their RSS feeds. If a website is not publishing its RSS feed, by all yardsticks, it is going to be obsolete very soon as RSS is slowly taking a center stage in the ways people surf the net. Everyday more and more are people are choosing RSS as their preferred way of surfing the net. And why not ? It is such a great time saver and helps us browse so many websites so quickly.

Almost all the blogging platforms of today (like WordPress, Movable Type etc) have an inbuilt feature of creating an RSS feed automatically every time the blog is updated. So the blogger does not require to create an RSS feed separately for his blog. He only needs to keep blogging as always and the feed will be created on its own.

How to find the address of any RSS feed ?

If you want to subscribe to the RSS feed of a blog, look for the following orange icon :

This orange icon has become the standard symbol of RSS and whenever someone needs to subscribe to the RSS feed of a blog/website, he only need to click on this icon to find the feed address.

For your kind information the RSS feed of this blog is :

http://feeds.feedburner.com/theindianblogger

Initially, reading various websites through their RSS feed in an RSS reader may appear a little odd to you. However, as your regularly use your reader, you’ll find that it is the fastest and the easiest method to keep in touch with your favorite websites/blogs. In our ever increasing busy life, RSS is a big time saver. If you are a heavy net surfer, you’ll soon be addicted to your reader.

So here was my attempt to explain the concept of RSS in a simple language. I think this is all you should know to have a general idea of what RSS is all about. I have refrained from explaining the technical details of RSS as I don’t think you need to know every internal part of a Car to drive it.

I would love to have your suggestions/comments on this explanation. If there is anything which needs more explanation or something which I have not covered here, feel free to mention that in your comments.

One of the most annoying disadvantage of blogging is that as you keep posting new posts some of the most useful and popular posts get buried in the archive . Except regular readers, it is almost impossible for new visitors to know about your best blog post. Since not many people are keen to search for the best content of a blog, unless we don’t make some effort to showcase our best blog posts on the front page itself , it would be almost impossible to let new visitors know about those post. This, in my opinion, is a very bad usability aspect of a blog style site.

One of the alternative to overcome this is to use the plugin ‘Popularity Contest’ which display a list of most popular posts of our blog in the sidebar. This, though helps a bit, is not the best possible solution as the popularity of a blog post is dependent upon many factors beyond our control. From my own experience, I can say that this is not the best choice to showcase our best posts.

Second alternative is to use another plugin ‘Recommend It’ which allows your blog’s veteran readers to recommend posts to first time visitors through a simple voting system. It is being used very successfully on it’s main site here

However, the best alternative in my opinion is to build your blog like a static site where all the best popular posts find a permanent place in the sidebar. I recently came across a blogger (Caroline Middlebrook) who has written a wonderful free ebook on this subject. The name of this ebook is How to Develop Money-Making Niche Sites with WordPress.

I read this ebook and I must admit it is a very easy to understand & effective book that explains the process of building niche sites using wordpress. Using the simple tutorial given in this ebook anybody can increase the usability aspect of his blog. If you want to make your blog easily accessible to new readers, you must read this ebook.

By Titus Hoskins (c) 2007

If you’re like most webmasters, you have probably spent years building your site. You have spent years adding content, building links and cultivating traffĂc – but how well do you really know your website?

How well do you know the intricate details of your website’s traffĂc? Where do your site’s visitors come from? How long do they stay on your site? Just where do they go to on your site and how well do they convert into buyers or subscribers?

Do you know your site’s rankings in the major search engines? What are your site’s top keywords? What’s your site’s Google PageRank? Who are your IP neighbors? What your site looks like in other browsers? How much is your site worth?

These are just some of the questions you should know, mainly because the more knowledge you possess about your site, the better equipped you will be at improving it. So here’s a simple lĂst of free site checking tools/sites that will let you “Big Brother” (monitor and watch) your site.

1. Google Analytics

Perhaps one of the most helpful analytical tools you can use on your site. Google Analytics will give you a wealth of information about your site’s traffĂc. Where it comes from, how long it stays on your site, where it goes on your site, how well your content converts… invaluable information every webmaster should have in their possession.

2. NetMechanic Toolbox

Review your site’s mechanics – find broken links, test browser compatibility, find bad HTML code, spot slow-loading pages, and review your spelling… all by using the NetMechanic Toolbox.

3. Keyword Suggestion Tool

This free keyword suggestion tool will tell you how many searches are done in WordTracker and Overture for your site’s keywords. Extremely valuable information since much of the web’s traffĂc and ecommerce is keyword driven.

4. Iwebtool

This is another free site which offers many valuable webmaster’s tools that will give you information about your/any site. Google PageRank, PageRank Prediction, Link Popularity, Search Engine Positions for Keywords, Backlink Checker… also Visual PageRank where you can see all the PR values of all the links on a given page – both internal and external.

5. Alexa Traffic Rankings

Alexa tracks the web’s traffĂc by using the Alexa bar in a surfer’s browser. Most people know it is not an accurate assessment of the traffĂc on the net but it is a handy measuring stick, nonetheless. It is also a handy tool for comparing sites and seeing the long-tern traffĂc trends of different sites, including your own.

6. Your Site’s Traffic Logs

Most webmasters know your raw traffĂc logs are worth checking and reading. They contain valuable information about your site. Especially helpful, if you’re checking for broken links on your site, you don’t want to see those 302′s everywhere. Close examination and regular checking of your traffĂc logs and stats will point out the profitable keywords on your site.

7. BetterWhois

You can use this site to find out the domain information about your site. Do you have control of your domain? Many webmasters buy their domain name thru their web hostĂng company. While this is not a problem in itself, if any dispute should arise, who has administrative control of your domain; you or your hostĂng company? Can you change hosting companies?

8. Google Alerts

Another valuable tool from Google which notifies you by email when your link or site is found anywhere on the web. Great for keeping track of any new links your site is getting. Many webmasters also use this handy tool to keep track of their competitors’ sites. They also use Google Alerts to keep track of whenever their own name is mentioned anywhere on the web. This one would even make Orwell proud.

9. IP Neighbors

Many webmasters have their site hosted on shared hostĂng plans, which means there can be hundreds of sites sharing the same IP address. This site lets you discover who your IP neighbors are. Why would you want to know your IP neighbors? Well like neighbors everywhere; there are good ones and there are bad ones. For example, if you have a neighboring site that uses email to sp@m, it could get your IP address blocked or shut down.

10. Any Browser

Use to this handy site to discover what your site looks like in different browsers; you could be in for a real shock.

11. Google Toolbar

The Google Toolbar can be placed on your browser so that when you’re surfing you can see the Google PageRank of each page/site you’re visiting. Many SEO experts believe Google is not giving us the true PR of a page and this bar is rather useless. However, like the Alexa rankings it is a handy measuring stick, nonetheless.

12. What Is Your Site Worth?

Please take this last analyzing tool with “a large grain of salt”, but it is fun to use and to see how much your site is worth. Measurement here is done largely by the amount of links you have coming into your site.

In conclusion, all of these free handy tools/sites will give you a better, more complete picture of your own site. Remember, the more knowledge you acquire about your own site and your competitors’ sites, the more equipped you will be to succeed. This is one case where being a “Big Brother” can truly benefit your site.

Related post plugin has been one of the most useful and highly recommended plugin which helps increase the visibility of your posts by showing a list of posts related to the current post. It’s a very helpful way to showcase your earlier work in a blogging environment where the older posts get buried deeply easily.

However, many people face difficulty in installing this plugin. The normal method of installing a plugin in WordPress (WP) is to upload the plugin in the Plugin directory and then activate it through Dashboard. However, apart from this procedure, the ‘Related Post’ plugin also require you to first run a script so that it can index all the posts in your blog. And here lies the problem.

Many people have faced this problem that when they click on run the script (in the Related post option), they got an error message that says:

“Sorry, you must be at least a level 8 users.”

Actually this message is an indication that you need to manually run a SQL query in your WordPress database. The ‘Read Me’ file of this plugin also says :

“If automatic creation of a full text index fails. You will have to set it up manually. Don’t worry it’s not hard. Just open your database in phpMySQLadmin and run the following command (cut & paste):

ALTER TABLE `wp_posts` ADD FULLTEXT `post_related` (
`post_name` ,
`post_content`
)”

The problem is that most users (included me  ) who are not familiar with SQL or programming etc find it difficult to do this on their own. So here is my tutorial to guide you step-by-step how to run this command.

What we will do ?

Every WordPress blog is powered by a database, which runs in the background. We need to make some modification in that database manually to properly install the plugin. We shall do it by identify the database on which our WP blog is running and then modifying a Table (‘wp_posts’) in that database.

I am assuming you that you are using Cpanel to manage your website and have installed WP using fantastico script (i.e. point and click installation). I have used the acronym WP for WordPress on many places in this tutorial. Please click on the screenshot for full view.

First Step : Identify the Database

If you are only running a WordPress blog and there is no other program/script (which uses database) is installed on your site then it’ll be easy. However, if some other programs (such as link-exchange script, forums etc which also run on databses) are installed on your website, then you’ll have to find the database used by your WP blog. For this login to site/blog using your ftp client and go the the root folder of your blog (i.e. the folder where your WP blog is installed). Here you’ll find a file named ‘wp-config.php’.

Download this file to your hard disk and open it in Notepad. There will be some configuration settings in this file. On the third line you will find the name of the database of your WP blog. Look at the screenshot. In the screen shot the name of the database is : medita00_wrp4.

You’ll need to modify this database of your WP blog. Note the name of this database carefully.

Now we’ll start the modification process. Login into the control panel of your Website. If it’s an old version of Cpanel it’ll look like this :

Here you need to click on the icon which says MySQL Databases.

In the new version of Cpanel all icons are separated category-wise and the Mysql database icon will look like this :

If you have the new Cpanel (as shown in the above screenshot) then instead of clicking on ‘MySQL Databases icon, you can directly click on ‘phpMyAdmin’ icon.

In the old version of Cpanel, we can’t access phpMyadmin directly. Here on clicking the ‘MySQL Databases’ icon, you’ll get following screen :

At the end of this screen, you’ll get a link for accessing the PhpMyadmin like this :

Click on this link.

So, the above are two methods to access PhpMyadmin section of your databases.

Let’s start running the Query

On clicking on phpMyadmin (in either of the new/old Cpanel) you’ll reach at the phpMyAdmin screen. On this screen in the leftmost sidebar, you will see a list of all the databases installed in your website. If your site has only one database then only one database will be listed. In the above example the name of the database was medita00_wrp4. As you can see in the screenshot, the medita00 is the name of the extension which is prefixed at the name of every database (like medita00_wrp4) and therefore is shown in the top of the list. The database which we are looking for is listed at the end of the list. Click on that database. See the screenshot

On clicking the database (‘wrdp4’ in this case), the following screen will appear.

This is the place where we need to run a query. Please note that in the list of tables a table named wp_posts exists. In 99.99% of cases it’ll be there. I am yet to see a WP installation where this table is not present. We are actually altering this table to include an entry for relatedpost plugin.

Click on the button which says SQL . The SQL tab will open like this :

Here copy and paste the code for ‘Related post’ as given in the Readme file of the plugin.

Click on Go.

The query will be executed and you will get the following message.

Congratulation ! you have installed the Related posts plugin successfully. Now you can use this plugin by inserting the code ( <?php related_posts(); ?> ) somewhere in your WP loop) at any place of your template pages (like single.php). It’ll work.

Please note that despite running this query, you’ll still get the error (of level 8 user) when you click on ‘Run the script’ in the Related post option page. Just ignore it. The plugin will run smoothly despite that error message. Actually this error message says that you can’t create the index automatically and you need to run the query manually (which you have already done). So ignore that message.

One more thing which I have observed is that this error (of level 8 users) is coming in those cases where the newer version of this plugin (2.02-404) is being used. This error does not come if you use an old version of this plugin (2.02). Using this older version, there will be no error and the script will run smoothly when you run it.

It means you’ll not required to run the SQL query. You may try the older version if you want. The developer of this plugin has either closed his website or has shifted somewhere else. So here is the old version of this plugin for you to download.

Related post plugin the older version.

I hope you liked the tutorial. Your feedback on it is welcome
